I do feel a very strong sense of relief on one hand and on the other a serious concern. A cruel and unjust burden remains on all sincere Muslims and the true report of our religion and our Prophet because of this individual, his declarations, and his affiliations and associations that are held in common by religious and political extremist agendas of varied interests and persuasions. A serious condition remains for correcting the image of Islam and our Prophet Muhammed. However, I am strongly relieved that such a person who is as much a part of damaging and misrepresenting the image of Islam as any individual in recent history is not in the frame any longer. He and persons like him or affiliated with him are proven as far from Islamic life and teachings as any notorious, immoral liar and sinner who willfully misrepresents that which is known to be universal truth and beauty, especially the truth and beauty of teachings on obedience to G'd, the rules and standards of universal human decency, and the dignity of Man taught by our Prophet and upheld in our religion. Informed Muslims will know of the history of our Prophet Muhammed's, the Prayers and the Peace be upon him, handling of Musailima the Liar.

I am hopeful that not only our government of the United States of America in the family of nations that includes Muslim nations, viewed and understood this man as the threat he and his following are to Muslims and all humanity. I am hopeful that Muslim governments, who would be naturally closer to and conscious of Islamic teachings and obligations, made some meaningful contributions to bringing the just action against this man, and the threat he represented to peace and security in this world. I would feel even more relieved if it had been reported that a Muslim-government-directed military operation with the just and humane intent understood and required in Islam, had been the responsible party for this action. That would be a sign to me that our international Muslim moral concerns and commitments are normalizing and improving, becoming more healthy and properly motivated and better informed.

I am thankful to G'd.
