COMMENT: Imam Earl Abdulmalik Mohammed, you are appreciated by many in this country. I do not know if you can see that from where you are. I speak to many brothers all over and they have respect for you. It is because you are clear and courageous. This is what I hear. I know I am stepping out there and I might lose some friends.

I respect you brother Imam and I trust your leadership. I am one of many. Not everyone will come out and say it. I thank Allah for what you have done and what you are doing. I don't have a question. I want you personally to know where I stand. I trust your leadership because it is clear you are following Imam W. Deen Mohammed's way of thinking and teaching and there is no doubt about it. And you are boldly putting it out there for all to see and learn from. Thank you. All Praises Be to Allah.

IMAM EARL ABDULMALIK MOHAMMED: Praise be to Allah. I appreciate you my brother for your courage. I do understand the climate and circumstances under which you are saying what you are saying to me. Our community has been under the rule of the tin soldiers until these moments. This is Imam W. Deen Mohammed's reference. What he was explaining was that the 'tin soldier' looks the part and maybe you can wind him up and make him act the part, but the true Islamic and human sensitivities are not present.

They repeat things and mimic things and mention things as though they understand, but the behavior and thinking are mechanical. It is not organic. It is contrived. It is artificial. It is not natural. It is not guided. It is manipulated behavior and thinking. No natural human being will trust such leadership. They will say "What is this artificial thing? This looks like a body-snatcher?" It is displaying an 'inserted' life and an 'inserted plan' - a pre-programmed leadership plan. It is running on a 'tin-soldier' programming designed for a specific outcome.

This is why I am the most trusted Muslim leader in America. Look at where I am. I am in the federal prison of the United States. Do you think the US government does not know me? They monitor every phone call and every email. Every letter I write and every letter written to me they have a copy of. They had the manuscripts of the books I wrote before the publisher's had them. Every comment I have made on any issue for our community, in this country, or the world, they have a copy of it before my secretaries have it. They have studied me and they know that I am in the direct line of our Islamic leadership.

They do not like everything I say, but they know that I a coming directly from authentic Islamic teachings as they were taught by Imam W. Deen Mohammed. They know I am the true Muslim-American leader in the exact image of those who constructed that image. I am no pretender or artificial creation. I am no creation of the US government. Neither am I a creation of the false leadership, the liars and hypocrites who have occupied seats of influence among us, and sought to replace Imam W. Deen Mohammed's teaching with their plan.

This is why they meet in secret about what I am doing and what to do about it. You notice they don't have much to say in open spaces anymore. I am very certain that persons like you and the reasons for your attachment to me is on the minds and tongues of every Imams association and the agendas of every Imams meeting there is. They won't say it like that. They will speak now of their 'National Objectives.'

Whatever their so-called 'National Objectives' are, they are in direct reaction to everything I have been doing. They study me so that they can know what they should be doing, and they want it to appear that they have been doing it all along. How duplicitous they are. They have no respect for us. They think we cannot see them. Not only can we see them but responsible leadership in all vital centers of this country and the world see them.

It is known in the leadership of this country and those who pay attention to these things in the leadership of this world that my thinking does not deviate, not even the smallest fraction, from what has been established by our late leader as the correct teaching and emphasis in the religion of Islam and essential Islamic community matters. They know that I am the friend to every good that Imam W. Deen Mohammed was friend to, and the enemy to every bad that he was enemy to. And they also know that prior to my voice being heard that our general community's leadership had voided themselves by the pursuit of selfish, petty, local interests and public arrogance, ill-preparedness, and stupidity since Imam W. Deen Mohammed's passing. Leadership to them is the fleecing of the public intelligence and moral commitments.

They weaken us in every area Islam wants strength and resilience for us. And their confusion for what are proper Islamic commitments manifest as dark clouds and dense fog over our vision and identity. Under them, we became lost on our own pathway of understanding and commitments. Someone will say, "Why don't they let you out if you are so trusted?" Oh, I will be out of prison according to Allah's Plan, not any sooner or later. Everything happens according to Allah's Plan. Not mine, not yours, not the enemies. We make the best of our situation and we trust Allah with the results. This is Islamic faith.

I intend that every public step I take serve the best applications of our Islamic life and the best interests of our American life as preserved for us in Imam W. Deen Mohammed's thinking. I would happily step aside if there was leadership known to me and us that could be trusted with this in the same demand and quality of attention I have given to it. My family has a claim on my love and my time. I have not had the normal interactions with them over these past several years that they are entitled to. And yet, they understand what I am doing, why I am doing it, and they support me in it. Every single one of my children and their mothers are with me.

Allah has favored these efforts with brothers like yourself and many others who have made similar public commitments. Allah has allowed me time, and I have made good use of it. It is Allah, the Most High, That has given me your trust and made me the most trusted of the Muslim leaders in America. We aim for obedience to Allah in everything. In our thinking, in our behavior, in our choices, in our commitments, even in our feelings. We do not even want to feel in a way toward our human life that is outside of obedience to Allah.

When Allah blesses us to have this then the result is trust. Trust comes from the structures that hold up the society. What Muslim leader is trusted in America? Is he or she trusted with the Islamic moral commitments? Is he or she trusted with the Islamic community relationships? In other words, are their public commitments a correct representation of the Prophet Muhammed and the Holy Qur'an teaching? Or, are they falling short or are they a misrepresentation because of a stronger allegiance to political partnerships, or immorality, or cultural leanings, or ignorance?

Many Muslim leaders in America are satisfied with a cloaked existence. They are not comfortable in its public because they do not understand its self-purging moral environment. They treasure its freedoms, but their presentation of Islamic life makes no public appeal. This is not our tradition. So, in our tradition we have to qualify to make that public Islamic appeal. If our leaders are not qualified for that or they disqualify themselves by making stupid statements like, "We have no leader," which is just a cowardly way of saying "We have no interest in public leadership because we are not qualified" then they cannot be trusted and they should not be trusted.

This is why they saw to it that I was given the moniker "convicted felon" and "criminal." They wanted to make sure the one that they knew to be Imam Mohammed's successor would be saddled with that weight. What they miscalculated was Allah's Plan over them. It will forever be known that I am a "convicted felon" and "criminal." But to those who are sincere in heart and mind, they will think of those descriptions of me in the context of every leader of a certain type that ever addressed human society as a witness to G'd and G'd's Plan for man on this earth, who also had that attached to them. I do not have to mention those names for those who are well-meaning and astute to what our life is, and what is has been in America.

Imam W. Deen Mohammed taught a dua, or supplication, that is a representation of every high principle in Islamic faith. He prayed:

"O Allah, I cannot manage this Life without You. Please make my life what You want it to be, what You prefer it to be. Do not permit me to act on my own. Help me to act only in obedience to You. We hear You. We obey You. We look to You for forgiveness, Our Lord. And to You is the Destination."

It is the deep meanings and principles in this prayer that explain why upon Imam W. Deen Mohammed's tradition that Imam Earl Abdulmalik Mohammed is the most trusted Muslim leader in America.
